Members of Think Again! TV and the Centre for Inquiry, via a secret source, obtained invitation-only tickets to a live faith healing/supernatural debt relief event featuring Peter Popoff at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre on May 26, 2011.
Footage shows Popoff engaging in “healings”, hosting testimonials and requesting large sums of money from the audience. Also features a sick man being turned away, and the description of an altercation in which – rather ironically – the organist for this “faith healer” wished upon us death by cancer.
Background:
Peter Popoff was a famous 1980s faith healer proven a fraud by skeptic James Randi on the tonight show with Johnny Carson. Randi and his assistants used a radio scanner to intercept transmissions from Popoff’s wife Elizabeth giving the prophet information about members of the audience, including their address and ailments. After being exposed, his popularity declined sharply, and Popoff declared bankruptcy in 1987.
20 years later, Popoff returned, ironically now combining supernatural debt relief, of all things, with his old faith healing tricks. He has become a profitable prophet once again.

Barbara is heartbroken when she discovers that her housekeeper was killed by the explosion; Sasha convinces Maritza to get a rape exam; Sully takes Barbara to his house to keep her safe; Maritza discovers that her rapist, Thomas Warner, has a history of sexually assaulting the workers at the clinic; undeterred by yet another attack on her life, this time by a sniper, Barbara insists on presiding at the preliminary hearing of Gary Barnes, the drug dealer who the police suspect is behind the attempts on her life; Faith visits a psychiatrist and unloads her anger at Bosco and Maritza; after Maritza testifies at the hearing, Barbara rules that Barnes can be held over for trial for the death of Lettie Cruz; when Sully sees Barnes signal a spectator in the court room, he and Ty follow him to a house where they see him join the man who delivered the bomb to Barbara’s house; the perps, armed with a detonator, threaten to blow up the block with the explosives they claim are in the house and force Ty to hand over his gun after he attempts to arrest them; Sully comes from the back of the house and fires. I LOVE THIS SONG!!!!!!!!! This song was the BUZZ in the early 90′s. Many of us had no clue who LaShun Pace (then Rhodes) was. All we knew is that after hearing her sing this, we HAD to have more of her. So gifted. So anointed. Just….WOW! Finally, after all these years I found the CD and decided to upload for others who have missed this song like I have. Big shout out to Wooddale High Class of ’91!

The Young Turks/MSNBC host Cenk Uygur breaks down a clip of Bill O’Reilly on Fox news defending Rep. Peter King’s ‘Muslim Radicalization’ hearings. Part of O’Reilly’s argument is that terror attacks only come from Muslims and that despite far left claims, the last right wing radical attack was the Oklahoma City Bombing. Cenk shares a new report showing that almost twice as many terror plots since 9/11 have come from non-Muslim Americans.

I wrote this to try and promote a healthy discussion. These are my views and opinions, but that does not mean that you must agree. If you want to defend your views and beliefs please do, but please do it in such a way that will shine a light on your beliefs and not embarrass them. I struggled with whether I should even upload this video or not, but I prayed about it, and you obviously can see the outcome of that. One World, One Love, One God.
(While I appreciate all the Bible quotes, you must respect my belief to question the absoluteness of quotations that have been translated from their original language and passed down from generation to generation by flawed men. If the Bible is truly God’s word, why are there different versions of the Bible? The original video claims we should be weary of religion because it has been corrupted by man, I am certainly not disagreeing with that aspect of it, just talking that idea even further to encourage reflection. )
